Many of life’s challenges are designed to move us from a place of peace. It is easy to be distracted or troubled by the ‘inconveniences’ of life. Be reminded, you don’t need to do this alone. Like Gideon in Judges 7, follow the Lord’s lead for divine battle strategies.

Dear Lord:
I know you ‘edge me behind and before’. That you are my rear guard – You fight my battles. Therefore, when you allow the enemy to cross battle lines to ‘steal and destroy’ – You have a plan. There’s a lesson to be learned. New battle strategies to master and spiritual muscles to develop. You set an ambush for the enemy in unexpected ways, foiling his plans and exposing his traps.
Show me how to avoid battles that have nothing to do with my purpose or destiny. Those that don’t matter in light of eternity. Grant me a heart of discernment to choose wisely- that I may not waste time and energy on fruitless, meaningless wars. When I get weary in the fight, remind me I am held.
‘In the Fight’
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” [Joshua 1:9]
Amen! Indeed, “When I get weary in the fight, remind me I am held.” Lovely share!
