What Olympic sports do you enjoy watching the most?

Do I have to answer this? I think everyone in my small island nation is cut from the same cloth when it comes to the Olympics. One day , during one of the World Athletics Championship, a friend of mine from Ethiopia watched me going crazy during an event. She softly asked, “Is everyone from your country like this?” I shouted a resounding, ‘YES!!’. Of course there are the few who were clearly adopted or somehow had their DNA mutated or altered in some form.😊

We love everything track and field with an inexplicable passion. It’s in our blood from pre-school. Sports Day in our schools is beyond your wildest imagination. Parents and all are called upon to participate. So, yes – the Black, Green and Gold nation will forever have track and field fever.

We wear our flag with a lot of swag – never wanting to be anything else but a loud voice for our well-loved nation. Though perfectly imperfect with our share of internal problems, when our athletes compete we band together like a pride of lions. Just let us be! 😊
