With all its meanderings, harsh realities, and unwelcomed trials – I still love life. After being blessed with more than 5 decades, I wake up each day understanding that this is a gift. It’s highly likely that I have more years behind me than ahead. Now I just want to squeeze out as much as I can out of whatever is left. So my response is, I simply love that I get to do this! I honor this gift of life that God gives by showing up each day with purpose and drive.
If I can be God’s hands extended to one soul each day – then it’s worth waking up. I get up not just for me. I am present for those who need my words, my presence, my person, my heart, and my resources. There is a reason I am alive today – I never take it for granted that I get one more opportunity to do what I was birthed to do. That’s my motivation.
‘If I can help somebody as I pass along,
If I can cheer somebody with a word or song,
If I can show somebody he is traveling wrong,
Then my living shall not be in vain.’

Indeed, being present in life. So, God’s presence can be represented in us, can be profoundly evident in thus, a life lived well!
