It’s midday and I have the day off. I’m lounging on my sofa watching the trees dancing to the beat of the winds and soaking in the rain from the effects of Ms. Idalia. She’s passing by heading somewhere towards the FL gulf coast. What am I feeling right now? How am I feeling right now? It’s one of those days; I just can’t put my finger on it.

***Glad you stopped by – it’s okay to just feel.
Stay safe and enjoy your day off.

Your poem begins by asserting you don’t know what you feel, and then you proceed to discover your feelings as you write–feelings that echo some of my own, especially: “In a place of expectancy yet wondering in the wait.” Well done, RH!

One of the reasons I write…it is so therapeutic for me. Our experiences as humans are so equal… on many levels.
