My Companion

Isn’t it funny how the meditations of our hearts and mind can hold us captive at the most unlikely moments? I find that my car is often my space – my creative room. I have started keeping this little blue book beside me as a constant companion. Sometimes I need to capture it all in ink. While sitting at a traffic light or stuck in traffic I find those few minutes to journal. It’s becoming quite easy to forget as the minutes all roll into one on my increasingly busy days. My blue book has recently become my new confidant. Here’s something we mused about this past week:

‘There are times when God allows our peace to be disrupted on purpose. We get shifted and repositioned for a season. This interruption very often transports us into new chapters – new seasons. God does nothing without a purpose. There’s always a reason for the seeming disturbance. It can leave us pondering endlessly, especially when the shift leads us into uncomfortable places. Take heart- these interruptions often prepare us for destiny moments. All a part of God’s master design.’

** Take a moment- Breathe. This is all purpose by design.
