Doing Life Boldly

[Day 11 #bloganuary2022]

As a flawed human being, I am fully aware [most times] of the things that
make me perfectly imperfect. At times, these private frustrations can be
crippling. Even at times evoking responses in me that are anti my core values.
Preventing me from living life to the fullest.

My take on living life boldly is daring to be and to do ‘in spite of’. I
rise above my limitations, my imperfections, or fears to take that ‘jump’.
There are times I choose to move in concert with them. Sometimes I do it afraid
until fear succumbs to the fight in me. I dare to challenge the flawed me to
push ahead until change manifests in me. I go to combat with my insecurities,
my default negative emotions refusing to give in to them. Quite aware of the
risks. The risk of falling flat on my face, being misunderstood or being
disappointed. Worst – rejected.

I show up anyway. Show up to the places I am positioned to be even when I struggle with my own insufficiency. I fearlessly embrace the pain that can come
with facing the truth. The pain that comes with growth – with taking
responsibility for my choices.

I confidently walk into life knowing that the imperfect me is enough in my
heavenly Father’s eyes. That ‘I am ready for and equal to anything [He calls me
to] through Him who infuses inner strength into me’. I got this because He’s
got me!

For this reason, I can do and be despite ‘me’. That’s bold! Don’t you think?

  1. “My take on living life boldly is daring to be and to do ‘in spite of’.”
And that takes courage; the kind of courage that is undergirded by the confidence that your Abba Father is right there to nudge you forward or to catch you.
