Day 10- Five Things I am Grateful for Today #bloganuary
Gratefulness is a wonderful garment. It looks good on whoever chooses to wear it. I find that it takes effort (being intentional), especially when we are walking through challenging seasons. Our tendency is to invest our energy and time, completely focused on all that’s going wrong. Gratefulness redirects our focus- reminds us that life is like a cactus prickly but beautiful!

So, what am I grateful for today? There’s the usual – family, health, and so on. Yes, I am grateful for that and more! Here’s the more:
So happy I didn’t marry him. Yes, him! The college that rejected my application to study Pharmacy, thank you, thank you, thank you! I was born to be an educator. Third, every mountain climbed, valley traversed and the lessons learned. I am who I am and so much the better because of my battle scars. Next, the time I have spent in obscurity, having my character refined – grateful for being humbled. I end with the fifth. Eternally grateful that I get to do life with my heavenly Father – today and always. I am forever grateful.
