Life presents us with a series of choices. What we chose to do in those moments has the potential to change the trajectory of our lives in significant ways. The freedom to chose how we live our lives is a God-given privilege. One that should not be taken lightly. With this privilege comes responsibility. We will be held accountable. I am attempting to make those choices that will prompt my future self to say ‘thank you’. How about you?
Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe. Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted. [Proverbs 2:11-12]
I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. [Deuteronomy 30:19-20]
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and He will grant you His blessing. [1 Peter 3:9]
