We are here – the end of another month! Time sure flies when you are having fun. Some may be wondering where the time went. Tasks unfinished , others not started – expectations not met. What we thought would have been, didn’t pan out. Some personal goals accomplished , some not. We come face to face without our limitations and the fact that we can’t always control the outcomes. We may struggle with our flaws and imperfections. It’s the end of another month and we are still under construction.

Like this house being built in my native island, we trust all the players involved. The architect, the builders, contractors and sub contractors. It’s a process. Some one had a vision to plant this house in this location – elevated with a view of the ocean. Though parts are missing, they envision the end product and thought it was worth the investment. It was worth the time, effort and energy to build their dream house- a masterpiece in their eyes.
I’d love to think that’s how the divine Architect of my life seems me. I’m worth the investment, so He patiently works on me. His time line may not perfectly align with mine. I am often in a hurry, He’s not. I get frustrated with the process, He doesn’t. I wonder when I’ll get somethings right – He knows my end from my beginning and still took a ‘chance’ on me. I think that counts for something. So as we end another month, much still left undone. Be reminded to handle your heart, your mind, your soul with care. Someone thinks you’re worth it. Don’t sell yourself short. Believe that there’s a treasure in you worth fighting for. Trust the process and submit to the hand of the Potter- even a cracked vessel is of immense and inestimable value in His hand. As imperfect as we are, we can find worth with the perfect Father.
Note to Self:
Go easy on me
I’m fractured in some places
My steps are unsure at times
Clarity evades me at odd moments
I often question my motives
Cross-examine the voices I hear
The noise in my space can distract
I frequently crave quiet for my own sanity
I’m learning to question from a place of peace
Not allowing the unknown to frazzle me
Imperfect and undone
Under construction – approach with caution
So- go easy on me
***Glad you stopped by – You are always appreciated!
Amen! Well said!
