One of the most beautiful things about being a teacher is getting front row seats to the lives of your students. So often we get to watch this interesting cycle of life continue. We watch them flourish as they blossom into amazing humans. They then are blessed to pour into someone else and the cycle continues. I am honored to be part of the story, however small a role I may play.

I’ve said this numerous times: “Don’t leave your seat empty.” We are chosen and positioned in places for divine purposes. God trusts us to not drop the ball. In spite of all that comes to distract, disappoint and discourage – still we rise. We rise to purpose – we forge ahead. Someone is waiting on you , waiting on me. Waiting on us to remain faithful to the call. So, where ever God positions you – occupy till He repositions or relocates you. Take your seat with courage and conviction.
Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.
Philippians 2: 3-4 (MSG)
***Thanks for reading. Take your seat at the table.
Aww that’s sweet ❤️. You’re so right about someone always waiting. We met a young Jamaican lady in church on Sunday, obviously going through some things so we exchanged numbers and to think we almost didn’t make it to church this Sunday.

Thank you for the encouragement, Mary. I am so grateful for those who long ago nurtured me in my Christian faith and growth. Now it’s my honor and privilege to provide a legacy of faith-filled integrity for the next generation. I pray my words, actions, and attitudes provide a worthy model.
