We’ve been told that in life you can have it all. Until we grew up and found out otherwise. I’ve learned to be careful of the trade-ins I make daily. With wisdom and discernment, I’ve discovered that I can either be right or have peace. Sometimes [or most times] in life, we can’t have both.
There is an exhortation given in scriptures that has helped me tremendously through the years: ” Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment” [Proverbs 4:7]. Somethings are not worth the fight. So, what change have I made? I have developed better judgement and learned to choose my battles wisely. I now ferociously guard my peace and don’t have a desire to trade it in. The truth is, ‘being right’ is highly overrated.
****Thanks for checking in – Choose wisely today!
A thousand times Yaas!! Holding onto my PEACE is soo much easier.

“Being right is highly over-rated.” Amen to THAT, R-H! Thank you for the affirmation of that truth and the reminder.

Our homes can often be saved by reminding ourselves of this bit of wisdom.😊
