About that night: I danced in the lights and the flurries of the fake snow. It was my birthday and I wanted to do something different. So often the child in us goes to sleep as we start adulting. Two weeks ago on my birthday night I toured a beautiful garden that was transformed with lights and music. The sounds of laughter, the oohs and the aahs awakened the child in me.

I got wet as I twirled around in the ‘snow’ moving in sync with the sounds of seasons. We sat under the lights singing Christmas songs with the different groups who performed that night.

I ended the night with the largest scoop of ice-cream I’ve ever had. I refused to count calories, ignored the the sugar and fat content. That night I pleased my taste buds my way.

We only live once in this lifetime – we can’t afford to forget what it means to play.
“Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were big things.”[Borrowed]
‘I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.’ [Ecclesiastes 3:12-13]
