They come in all faces, races, ages, sizes, and shapes. They give my world flavor, shine, and beauty of a special kind. Welcome to my world – ‘a many splendored thing’! These are the souls that have helped to shape the ‘me’ I so appreciate today. The wiser, calmer, stronger, kinder and more graceful me. Time and experience have taught me to listen more, laugh harder, and trust the leading of my heart. I am learning to be present in the moments I am blessed to have these footprints walk with me each along this journey. I don’t always get the why, the how or the when , but I’ve come to understand that the people in my world are there for a reason and oftentimes a season.

Audacious, brassy, and bold
Witty, smart, and hard-headed
Loosed screws and buttoned up
Annoying and encouraging
Fighters and go-getters
Slow climbers
Speed racers
Some dig deep
Others are shallow and surface only
Make and models of all kinds
They all make this life
