This quote caught my attention this morning:
If God could take someone away that you thought you would never lose – imagine the person He could give you that you thought you’d never find.
What if we begin to trust God to truly turn the broken pieces into a master piece, the pain into purpose and learn the art of reframing. This is more than behavioral therapy. Shifting the way we perceive situations invites us to see life through God’s lens. What if your life isn’t really falling apart? It might just be ‘falling into place’. Sometimes God’s way requires a bit of shaking, like the sifting of wheat. Somethings need to go in order for us to create space for His best. If you dare to start the journey of faith with God, you will quickly discover some truths that can be hard to swallow. One of them is, ‘His way is not your way’. He never promised you would understand everything He does. Scriptures, however, challenges us to ‘trust Him with all our hearts and not rely on our insight or understanding’ [Proverbs 3:5].
What if we dare trust God for the good that can come after the storms that ravaged the landscape of our lives? For the things that seem way beyond our limited mindset or thinking. What if today we challenge ourselves to walk in sweet surrender to God’s way? The lyrics to this song has been playing in head for the last few weeks – I invite you in to listen:

This journey of faith – like many others, often begin with a single step. The truth is – we have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Join me as we truly aim to see life from God’s upper story.
