I don’t consider myself a worrywart. My heart and mind don’t do well in that space. I’ve lived long enough to know that most of the things I worry about never manifest anyway. The truth is things do have a way of working out. As a person of faith, I stay in peace by having a conversation with the only One who knows my yesterdays, todays and my tomorrows. My heavenly Father holds my tears in a bottle and hears even my faintest whisper. With that being said –If there’s anything that sits at the forefront of my mind constantly, it’s my concern for my boys. As a mom, if I don’t intentionally trust God with them and for them –I would be a mess today. They are my biggest concerns. I love them. I must confess that at times I do worry about their future.

You bring me joy in all kinds of ways
Made me a better person
Showed me some hidden parts of me
Keep me on my knees
Constantly in prayer
You are always on my mind
Your world is so unkind on many levels
I pray you’ll be a difference maker
Kinder, braver and wiser
May your heart be quick
To extend mercy
May grace quicken your hand
When judgement sits at the door

In times of trouble
May peace be your rear guard
When faced with uncertainties
Seek wisdom from God
Wear faith as an accessory
Never leave it behind
When hope fades
Hold fast to the One
Who never abandons His own
“Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!”
Deuteronomy 5:29

I so much enjoy your words!!! This one was amazing!! I have twin grandsons. They were born at 26 1/2 weeks. They faced difficulties for much of their first year!! They are 9 today and healthy. Much love to you and your boys!!!

Thank you for your words too! The world is an exciting place to be in and at the same time is scary. But when I see all the Children they can handle anything come to them in so many ways.

Thanks for stopping to read and share your thoughts. I agree somewhat. As a teacher, I have many children who have not been able to handle some of what has been thrown at them. Many were not protected and taken care of –left to fend for themselves. Unfortunately many never made it. It is our responsibility to love, protect and help prepare them for this tough world. Many of us have failed.

I hear you; it is hard, and I, too, am learning to help. Thank you for being a teacher, one of the most challenging roles. If only some of the teachers I had, I would be a different person today. Thank you!

As moms, we put them in God’s care and we stay on our knees, but honestly, I dont think that little, tiny tinge of worry ever completely goes away… even when they are 50! It’s the heart God gave to us. The joys of motherhood🙂

As a daughter to The King, He has counted every single hair on their heads… God does exactly as He chooses for His purpose, and your babies are a part of His purpose and a part of His purpose for you… God bless and keep you and all who are nestled beneath your umbrella of faith sister!
