AMEN

So be it. Let it be. An affirmation of agreement. I saw this t-shirt on a student recently. So grateful he permitted me to take this shot. This has been part of my roadmap to peace. It has helped to clear out much of the ‘other options’ life offers. This is how I’ve simplified my life. What does God say about this? I then agree with His take on the situation. Now, it doesn’t mean that everything makes sense to my finite, limited mind. Scripture reminds us that God’s ways are higher than ours. And….His way is perfect! Oops! No wonder we are called on to seek His help to do the right thing. I discovered He’s always willing and ready to help us do things His way. He never leads us wrong.

Today, more than ever, we need to be mindful of what and who we agree with. It is no longer in our best interest to ‘go along just to get along’. History has shown us that man is prone to failure and the best of us fall short, even with the best of intentions. God’s ways may never be popular, but it is perfect. So, as I venture into this coming week- I choose to say AMEN to His will and His way. Yes, the struggle is real! I want what I want, but I’ve made too much mess doing it my way. Maybe that’s not your story. Mine has been one of grace, mercy, redemption, and love. So I’ll keep saying AMEN to He who sought me out and loved me in ways no one else could. He who helps me make sense of the chaos and the uncertainties of life. My desire is always to make each begin and end with Him. AMEN.
