Day 22 – A favorite quote #bloganuary prompt
I don’t think I have any one specific quote that resonates with me. It depends on the day or night. Over the past two years, however, it seems that pain is an ever-present constant in many lives.
To keep my head above waters as I navigate this season, this quote helps me breathe. It challenges my perspective – frames my mindset. Helps me to make sense when the storms rage.

Was there ever a promise of a life without pain? No. This I know that God has a remarkable way of repurposing what we give Him – for the greater good.

Thank you for sharing!

If ever you are called to walk this road – I pray you find the purpose.

As I approach 71 I’ve learned that the pain I’ve suffered through life has stripped me of false hopes, beliefs and expectations. I think until that happens, there’s no hope of uncovering and living as, the true, authentic self. It’s the best kind of happiness.

Pain and experience are soul mates .. and great teachers.

The trick is surviving the pain to experience the experience!

Right… if anything Jesus promised there will be trouble… John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

There is PURPOSE IN PAIN. Rom. 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. You see; GOD does not waste our pain, our tears, He dosn’t waste time and HE; dosn’t have any need to do any experiment. Our OMNISCIENT GOD; knows the end from the beginning. This all-knowong LOVING CAREING HEAVENLY FATHER will do whatever is needed or necessary to BRING OUT THE BEST IN US.
