‘Can You Spot the Teacher?

Sat in my empty classroom decompressing after a 3-hour virtual class. I haven’t seen any students face-to-face since March 2020. Every now and then I go back to pictures. Whoever invented the art of picture taking – I love you.

Even more amazing, is that beautiful, fascinating part of us called the mind. The storage capacity it has- the amazing way it recalls faces, places and moments still boggles me. Those memories that bring a smile to your face and warms your heart on a cold winter day.

You are reminded of how blessed you have been. Even the bitterness of life has made you better. There is the sense that though life may have thrown you some curves – it has also brought some unforgettable people across your path.

My students have been some of those for me. Those girls were from my very first job as a teacher. I almost look like them. Their laughter was infectious. Even though they drove me crazy sometimes, for some reason I hardly remember the difficult days. I don’t know where most of them are, but so glad we met. For this one moment in time- I am truly grateful!

I’d love to invite you today to steer your mind to reflect on that one moment in time – the one that brings a smile to your heart. Amidst the hustle and grind -‘ whatsoever things are true, pure…lovely. Think on these things’. Make today count. The One who already walked through the halls of the future reminds us, “Do not worry about tomorrow – ‘tomorrow has it’s own troubles.” Take a moment; reflect with me and smile. You got this!

**Did you spot the teacher?😂

***Thank you for stopping by and peeking into my world. Glad we connected, even if just for this moment.
