Girl Talk

That amazing bond between girls! My sister girls how blessed we are to have each other. We become burden bearers, the arms that hold – the hands that dry the tears. The ear that listens and the voice that reminds.

We celebrate, we laugh until we want to sprinkle or tinkle. We talk. Men and menopause, grey up there and grey down there! Children and grandchildren, dreams and desires. Hopes and fears, battles won – battles lost. Failures, conquests and losses. Money and the mundane. Pain and pleasure, sickness and health. Faith and doubts, sacrifice and success. Questions asked and questions answered. You think of it- we talk about it!

We build- we encourage. Iron sharpening iron [ Prov. 27:17]. We speak life, give hope. Give a hand, hold a hand. When my vision is clouded, you help me see. In the midnight hour, you point me to the light. Your words soothes the pain from my battle scars. The testimonies of your journey fuels the fire to keep me going. Your joys, my joys. We do this together, my sister – my friend!

We fight. Fight for our families – our peace. We take back. Take back our dignity and everything that was stolen from us. Quitting is never an option – we P.U.S.H. Pray Until Something Happens! We are blessed with ‘come back’ power – never count us out. We come back stronger. Real talk!

Acknowledge a sister-friend today. Do some catching up. Light a fire! Encourage. Real girl talk!💕💃🏾

  1. I am glad you have a sister. My two girls get along like you and your sister. I have no sister, or siblings. I was adopted. My adopted siblings have not spoken to me for many years. I love watching my girls.

    1. Sisters come in all forms – by birth , adoption or by common bonds. I take them either way. Sometimes in life, after you’ve checked your heart and make attempts for reconciliation
-you just have to continue living.
